He gave 4 Padma Vibhushan, 10 Padma Bhushan and 57 Padma Shri Awards at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday 28 April. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Residence Minister Amit Shah and plenty of different ministers and individuals had been current on the event.
Dr. Lakshminarayan Subramaniam was awarded the Padma Vibhushan of Karnataka for his nice contribution to artwork. Nandamuri Balakrishna of Andhra Pradesh, Shekhar Kapoor of Maharashtra, S. of Tamil Nadu. Ajit Kumar, and the late Pankaj Udhas (posthumously) of Maharashtra, had been awarded the Padma Bhushan. Farida Pankaj Udhas, spouse of late Pankaj Udhas, acquired the award on his behalf.
