Anticipation of Two New Smartwatch Releases
On Thursday, Honor launched the Magicbook Pro 16 2025 laptop in China, during which they also hinted at the introduction of the new smartwatch in the country, as per a report. This report included a promotional image that showcased the designs of at least two upcoming smartwatches. One design appears to closely resemble the existing Honor Watch 5 Ultra.
The second smartwatch, which is also set to be launched in China, features a crown positioned at the top right of a circular dial. The company teased this model in a Weibo post but did not disclose the launch date or the name of the device.
Specifications of Honor Watch 5 Ultra
The Honor Watch 5 Ultra comes equipped with a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate, along with always-on display support and sapphire glass protection. It includes ECG tracking and quick health scanning capabilities. Additionally, it is fitted with monitors for sleep, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels. The smartwatch offers more than 100 preset sports modes.
The device is powered by a 480mAh battery, which is said to last for 15 days on a single charge. It has an IP68 rating for dust resistance. The smartwatch supports GPS and Bluetooth connectivity with version 5.2.
