**NEET Exam 2025**: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate programs (NEET UG) on May 4, 2025. Candidates can access the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, to download their admit cards.
Following the release of the Examination City Intimation Slip and the NEET UG 2025 Admit Card, the NTA has provided guidelines for the exam day. Candidates must ensure they adhere to specific documentation requirements, dress codes, and rules regarding prohibited items, which are intended to prevent any last-minute issues at the examination center.
### NEET UG 2025: Required Documents
1. Candidates must bring a printed version of their admit card, which should include a passport-sized photograph that matches the one uploaded during the application process.
2. A passport-sized photo, identical to the one submitted with the application, must be attached to the attendance sheet at the exam center.
3. An original and valid photo identification document is required. This could include a PAN card, voter ID, driving license, Aadhaar card, passport, ration card, or a photo ID together with the class 12 admit card.
4. If applicable, candidates should remember to bring their Persons With Benchmark Disability (PWBD) certificate if they fall under that category, issued by a competent authority.
According to the NTA, candidates will not be permitted to take the exam without essential documents such as the Aadhaar card or a valid photo ID.
### NEET UG 2025: Dress Code for the Exam
The NTA has established a strict dress code to maintain the integrity of the exam and facilitate efficient security checks:
1. Candidates should opt for light-colored, casual attire with short sleeves. Attire that is heavy or features long sleeves is prohibited.
2. Footwear should be limited to slippers or sandals with low heels.
3. Candidates dressed in traditional or religious garments must arrive at the examination center at least one hour before the reporting time (by 12:30 PM) to allow sufficient time for inspection.
4. Female candidates are advised to avoid wearing brooches, flowers, denim, or badges. Jewelry such as earrings, pendants, nose rings, and other decorative items should also not be worn during the exam.
### Items Not Permitted in the Exam Hall
1. Any printed or written notes, paper, or study materials.
2. Geometry boxes, pencil cases, plastic pouches, pens, scales, writing pads, erasers, logarithmic tables, calculators, electronic pens, or scanners.
3. Mobile phones, earphones, microphones, Bluetooth devices, pagers, health bands, cameras, or any electronic communication gadgets.
4. Watches, bracelets, and any metal items are prohibited.
5. Any packaged or opened food items.
6. Any objects that could be utilized for dishonest practices, such as microchips or hidden communication devices, will lead to disqualification and cancellation of a candidateโs application.
Furthermore, the NTA rules state that no candidate may exit the examination hall before the test concludes without submitting their answer sheet. Strict actions will be taken against any violations under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
It is worth noting that alternative questions will not be provided this time, and the duration of the exam has been shortened by 20 minutes.
