While the western districts are suffering under extreme heat, the eastern parts are enjoying relief from rain. On Friday, regions including Chambal, Jabalpur, Sagar, and Shahdol reported rainfall at various locations, leading to a drop in temperatures in Rewa and Shahdol divisions by 2.3 to 2.9 degrees Celsius above normal. Conversely, in Bhopal division, temperatures were recorded at 1.9 degrees Celsius below normal, although residents in the capital continued to endure the sweltering heat.
