Four Masked Robbers Execute Bold Heist at Jagannath Jewelers
Dhar, Nayduniya Representative. On Friday night around 8:30 PM, four unidentified robbers executed a dramatic heist at the well-known bullion store, Jagannath Jewelers, situated at the Singhana bus stand, a hub of activity in the city.
According to reports, the shop was operating as usual when four masked individuals suddenly entered. They quickly shut the shop’s shutter upon entering. The accountant, Munim Shahaji Mane, who was present at the time, was assaulted while the robbers made off with gold and silver jewelry. After committing the crime, the suspects fled the scene.
Injured Accountant Rushed to Hospital
Upon receiving the alert, Prakash Sarode, the in-charge of the Singhana police outpost, arrived at the crime scene with his team to investigate. The injured accountant was promptly taken to the local primary health center for medical attention.
Previous Attempted Thefts at the Same Location
- It is important to note that this shop has been targeted in theft attempts three or four times before, raising concerns about the security measures in place. The police have filed a case and initiated a search for the culprits, reviewing footage from local CCTV cameras.
- This incident has created an atmosphere of fear among both traders and residents. Local citizens are urging the police to enhance nighttime patrols and take stringent actions against criminal activities.
