Rajgarh. A couple in love tragically took their lives in Achalpura under the Bhojpur police jurisdiction. Their bodies were found hanging from a Mohwa tree, with a sari tied as a noose. According to local sources, Mohan Lal from Achalpura village noticed the couple’s bodies while he was out in the field early in the morning. Alarmed, he rushed back to the village to inform others. Soon, hundreds of villagers gathered and alerted the police. Officers from Bhojpur arrived at the scene, removed the bodies from the tree, and transported them to Khilchipur Government Hospital, where the families were later given the deceased for last rites. The boy identified was Radheshyam, son of Devi Lal Tanwar, aged 21, and the girl was the daughter of Bhanwarlal Tanwar, aged 19. The couple had committed suicide by hanging from the tree that morning. Notably, the girl had come to her maternal home just three days ago.
The boy was married, but faced challenges with his in-laws
According to the boyโs father, Radheshyam was married to a girl from Dodia Khedi, but for the past two years, the girl’s family had refused to send her back due to ongoing disputes. He was unaware of any romantic involvement his son had with the local girl. However, it appears the boy was distressed due to issues with his in-laws, which may have led him to this tragic decision.
The deceased girl returned from her in-laws just three days prior
The girl’s father, Bhanwarlal Tanwar, explained that his daughter had been married three years ago to a man from Durjan Poori and had lived with her in-laws for a year.
