Remarkably, the film earned almost as much on its third day as it did on its opening day, totaling around ₹50 crores across three days. Meanwhile, the collections for “Hit 3: The Third Case” and “Retro,” which released alongside “Red 2,” remained relatively low. “Retro” managed to earn only in the single digits on its third day, while “Hit 3” exceeded ₹40 crores in total. This success reinforces Ajay Devgan’s status as a box office powerhouse.
According to reports, “Red 2” generated an estimated ₹18 crores on its third day, following earnings of ₹12 crores on the second day and ₹19.25 crores on its opening day. After earning ₹19.25 crores on its opening day, “Retro” could only manage ₹7.75 crores on both the second and third days, bringing its total to ₹34.75 crores.

In contrast, “Hit 3: The Third Case,” featuring Nani, Adivi Shesh, and Srinidhi Shetty, performed better than “Retro.” Reports indicate that “Hit 3” earned ₹21 crores on its opening day, surpassing “Red 2.” However, its earnings declined to ₹10.5 crores on the second day and approximately ₹10.25 crores on the third day, totaling ₹41.75 crores over three days.
