**Mumbai**: In the ongoing box office battle among “Red 2,” “Retro,” and “Hit 3,” Ajay Devgan, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Vani Kapoor’s film “Red 2” has shown a strong performance, especially during the weekend. Remarkably, the film earned almost as much on its third day as it did on its opening day, totaling around โน50 crores across three days. Meanwhile, the collections for “Hit 3: The Third Case” and “Retro,” which released alongside “Red 2,” remained relatively low. “Retro” managed to earn only in the single digits on its third day, while “Hit 3” exceeded โน40 crores in total. This success reinforces Ajay Devgan’s status as a box office powerhouse.
According to reports, “Red 2” generated an estimated โน18 crores on its third day, following earnings of โน12 crores on the second day and โน19.25 crores on its opening day. Overall, the film has accumulated โน49.25 crores in India over three days. Notably, “Red 2” is a sequel to the 2018 hit film “Red,” both of which were directed by Raj Kumar Gupta.
