SBI Aims to Raise 25,000 Crore in Funding for 2025-26

The State Bank of India aims to generate up to Rs 25,000 crore in equity capital for the fiscal year 2025-26.

This fundraising initiative will be carried out through methods such as qualified institutional placements, follow-on public offers, or other approved avenues, possibly in combination.

In the last quarter of Fiscal 2025, SBI experienced a decrease in net profit, although net interest income saw an increase, and asset quality exhibited improvements.
