India has closed its airspace to Pakistan-owned and operated planes, days after Islamabad determined to close its airspace to all flights owned and operated by Indian carriers, Newsstate24 reported.
The transfer comes amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan within the wake of the horrific terror assault in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam by which 26 vacationers have been gunned down by terrorists with hyperlinks to Pakistan.
India has issued a NOTAM (discover to airmen) underneath which Pakistani aircrafts are barred from Indian airspace until Might 23.
