The Enforcement Directorate has taken Puneet Jaggi, the embattled promoter of Gensol Engineering Ltd., into custody in reference to a Overseas Trade Administration Act case, information company PTI reported on Thursday, citing sources.
The federal probing company carried out searches at premises linked to the fraud-hit Gensol in Delhi, Gurugram and Ahmedabad, they added.
As per the PTI sources, Jaggi was taken into custody by the ED from a lodge in Delhi.
The promoter brothers of the corporate — Anmol Singh Jaggi and Puneet Singh Jaggi — are below the scanner of the federal probe company following a SEBI report in opposition to them for alleged monetary misconduct and diversion of funds.
