ABB India on Thursday stated its electrification and movement business operations groups have initiated the usage of EVs for transferring completed items and uncooked supplies between the manufacturing facility and distribution centre, in addition to for last-mile deliveries inside Bengaluru.
In Nelamangala, the initiative was formally flagged off on the Good Energy manufacturing facility campus and the distribution centre at Hanchipura, the corporate stated in an announcement.
By adopting EVs in its logistics operations, ABB India will considerably scale back Scope-3 greenhouse gasoline emissions.
